Cocktail Professor​ developed some cocktails for the new grand café De Tropen​ of the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam. Holding into account the global character of the venue and the beautiful location at one of Amsterdams most beautiful parks we created tree different cocktails. Besides that we were providing pre-opening support during the opening of the new venue, by helping them with recruitment, design, glassware & bar supply sourcing, advice and styling.

On the menu

On the menu three different cocktails all with a reference to it’s concept ‘classic with a little link to the tropics’ and easy to make in high volume. The first cocktail is a twist on the classic Italian Negroni cocktail, but with gin infused with ripe bananas and garnished with dried bananas. An Oosterpark Smash, a variation on the Basil Smash with some fresh cucumber, basil, lemon juice, vodka, absinth and a ice ball with a violet inside. And the Tropencocktail, a tropical summer cocktail with Bacardi , Falernum , pineapple juice, lemon juice and a torched slice of baby pineapple on top.
